I have extensive experience on online promotion for the United Nations, governments and international NGOs in both severely under-developed and fully connected areas. During the Ebola outbreak I was based in Conakry and increased the social media followers of UNDP Guinea by a factor of 15.
For 3 years I ran my own digital communications consultancy in Sierra Leone and Liberia.
The use of, and content on, social media is radically different depending on the country and audience. I have the experience of communicating across the whole spectrum, from using visual images on Facebook to communicate with citizens living off grid, to communicating sophisticated summaries of detailed reports to international investors.
